It's officially summer in Goa - time to ditch the jeans and layers and stick to something basic. It's humid in Goa during most time of the year, but the summers are actually hot. You just wish you can live in pyjamas all day. But you need to dress up whilst you go out, though in simple summer clothes. This is my take to summer dressing in Goa. Culottes instead of shorts, basic tee and comfy nude flats!
Yes, I absolutely love shorts, but you can't wear shorts everywhere. It looks great in fashion lookbooks and at the beach - but one cannot live in shorts if you have things to do. Like for instance, on a normal day, I'd go to office, go out for lunch may be or coffee, catch up with some friends after work, run errands, attend events or run around for stories. I'm always on the move and meeting ten different kind of people, and going to different type of places, and shorts aren't apt for most of the place. Imagine wearing hot pants to office!
Palazzos and culottes are an option! Summer prints, cotton fabric - oversized airy bottoms, with a solid coloured top. Cool? Accessories? May be if you wish to? Or else, see the heart shaped badge I've pinned to my top? Hassle free! Throw on the coolest pair of nude ankle strap sandals (my go-to pair of flats for the summer. I wore them with this summer #ootd as well). I am absolutely in love with this look! Let me know what you think in the comments. Follow me on Instagram for daily updates.
