I've been landing at momo places way too often lately. This was a random stop for dinner after an event in Calangute. Well, I wasn't dissappointed one tad bit with this little rooftop restaurant on a busy Calangute street. Oh yes, the street is super crowded, but we did manage to find parking and found our way to the restaurant by climbing the dimly lit stairway.
Once on top, we took a seat and asked for the menu. We wanted to keep it real quick since I had to go back home, and be in office next morning! After scanning the menu for a bit, I was so impressed by the variety of momos they serve besides a vast variety of oriental food. Probably the name 'Tibet' says it all - their momos had to be great.
Purely instinct, I asked for the mutton momos and I wasn't disappointed one tad bit. Succulent steamed momos with chutney made it's way to my table and how I loved chewing on the juicy momos and reach momo heaven!
We directly jumped to the main course, all while sipping on some drinks! We asked for pork chilley and chicken chowmien. A bit salty, the pork chilly was a stellar. For a noodle lover, the chowmien was amazingly done with fine strands noodles stir fried with veggies, chicken bits and sauce!
