Long time. Just tied up with work and can't post as regularly as I would. But hey, what's up? How you guys been?
This post is just a beginning to a series of posts - exploring super affordable eateries around Goa. This will include small food joints, food stalls, carts and food trucks - all over Goa. I don't know for how long I'll keep it running. But as and when I try something new, I'll put it up on the blog for you to check it out! Sounds cool? Read on! Also, if you come across something interesting you think I should check out, drop me a line or comment below, and I shall go check it out.
About this place - it was randomly brought up in a conversation with a friend. And the four of us went and checked it out.
It's Lily's Flower, in Caranzalem, Goa. A little shop selling some good Goan snacks - all at a very affordable price. And almost all of it is non-veg. So well, favourite! If you're a sucker for pork, beef and prawn delicacies, this one's for you.
Well, they serve a lot of things ranging from patties to croquettes and rissois. And all of it can be accompanied by drinks like fresh juices, cold coffee, tea and coffee.
We asked for a plate each of these - chicken pan roll, prawn rissois, beef croquettes, beef samosa and pork pie. And everything was fresh and delicious. We also got a refill on our cold coffee too. And everything costed us just INR 435/- Cool?
This place is surely recommended for someone who likes snacks like these! They shut at 9 pm, so go in before that. Also, the ambience isn't so great and you can't sit for a long time, but the crowd is good - young office goers and college kids. I coincidentally met a cool bunch of artists, designers and writers there. So well, cool! Go check it out and tell me your thoughts.
And share this post with someone you think would like this kinda food! And don't forget to follow me on Instagram, Zomato, Roposo, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat @flexcia_dsouza and check out other food posts by clicking here.
