Spring Lookbook || Easter in Goa

Hello lovely peeps.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter. Hope everyone is having a good day. I am sure everyone knows why Easter is such an important for us Catholics. For those who do not know, Easter is the most important and oldest festival of the Christian Church, celebrating the resurrection of Christ and held on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the northern spring equinox. In Goa, we have a long weekend, so friends and family come together to celebrate.

We can’t get into the spirit of Spring without preparing our wardrobes for Easter. Whether you’re headed to church with the family or plan to brunch it up with your girlfriends, you’ll need to stay stylish. But with the promise of good food, plenty of time to relax, and OK, maybe a speedy egg hunt, you'll want to be comfortable. Of course, when you pull out feel-good closet staples in light hues, you'll be impeccably dressed for Easter.

Since I wasn’t in Goa for over two months, my mum decided to shop my Easter dresses. And both dresses featured in this post are bought from her favourite clothing store. I always like what mum buys me, and this was no exception. Even though I missed going dress shopping, I realised I had done more fun things than shopping in March. Read about it here.

I wore this basic b/w checkered dress with a metal bar belt for the night. I rarely wear midis, and I have never worn a checkered dress before. So this added something new to my wardrobe along with making it a classy Easter eve outfit. I love how the high waist and V-neck accentuates my curves without showing much skin. Jewelry was minimal with just a pair of black oxidized earrings and bangle.

What better way to embrace spring than wear this pastel coloured floral tribal printed dress. This skater midi is of the right length and fit, perfect for a brunch when worn on white block heels or wedges. I absolutely love the details on the neckline. Coral lips and silver earrings from Reliance Trends completed the brunch look.
