The brocade dress

The St. Agustines Tower is the only remains of what was once the largest building in Goa- the St Agustines Church in Old Goa. Constructed over 400 years ago, the 46 mt. high laterite structure has collapsed and what is left is the spectacular remains of the St. Agustines Tower. Perfect location for this concept!

Wearing a crepe silk and brocade dress created from a single 100 % South Indian crepe saree sourced from Chennai, entirely draped and hand stitched in a style typical of the saree drapes of tribal women of India to create a bucolic yet a loud look.

The colour of the dress camouflages benevolently with the rustic background, and the golden borders and peep-toes just adds a classy feel to this piece designed and manufactured by Harold Andrade. The loud gold eye shadow and bold dark red lips completes the look.
