Foxes Fiesta, Goa

I have an intimate connection with seafood. I cannot imagine life without eating seafood every single day. Perhaps, it is because I am so accustomed to it since mom cooks fish every day, or probably for the very reason that I am a Goan.

Considering my strong love for seafood, it won’t come as a surprise to you guys that I order fish every time I go to a restaurant that serves seafood. This time was no different.

I stumbled upon Foxes Fiesta on Chogm Road on a hot October afternoon purely by chance while riding from Calangute to Mapusa with a friend. The plan was to visit Florentine to devour the yummilicious cafreal, but I see this place with a quirky name right next to Florentine on the main road and I decided to try it out instead. And it lived up to my expectation.

Foxes Fiesta is a refreshing change from the overhyped and overcrowded shacks along the coast. And guess what? It is reasonably priced and the quantity is great to satiate your hungry tummy too. So you can have a feast without a dent in your pocket. The place isn’t fancy and makes you feel right at home. The decor is minimalistic, but the awesome food they offer totally makes up for it.

The menu looked pretty impressive. I feasted on some awesome Fish Fingers, King Fish Rava Fry and Chicken Fried Rice which were absolutely delightful. The fish fingers were moist and delicious, with a crispy crust, served hot with white sauce and salad. The plate of King Fish royally adorned three slices of the fish made perfectly, served with salad and finger chips *yayyyh*. The papads I had for starters were nicely made with grated coconut, diced onion and tomatoes. I loved the food and would definitely go there for more. Indeed a delightful seafood indulgence at Foxes Fiesta.

Have a look at the photographs. The food is as good as it looks in the photos. Comment below and let me know if you have tried this place and what you liked there?
